About Us

The Selangor Darul Ehsan & Wilayah Persekutuan Family Reproductive Health Association (SWP FReHA) or best known as FReHA is the first family planning association (FPA) to be founded in Malaysia. For more than 60 years, FReHA has devoted its energy to passionately provide access, services and educational programmes related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all levels of community.

About Us

The Penang Family Health Development Association (FHDA), established in 1961 then as the Penang Family Planning Association, is a non-profit, non-government organisation with charity status located in Penang. We believe in ensuring the fulfillment of sexual and reproductive rights for all, including universal access to high-quality sexual and reproductive health services and comprehensive sexuality education, to lead healthy and empowered lives. We are committed to sexual reproductive healthcare as a human right for all.

We provide access to a wide range of services for the whole family including wellness screening, contraception, unwanted pregnancy and fertility screening, breast and cervical cancer screening, HIV testing, positive living support group, menopause screening, and programmes for the ageing population and youths.

FHDA is a state member under the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations, Malaysia (FRHAM).

Founded in 1961 as Kedah Family Health Association, KFHA is a state member under the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations, Malaysia (FRHAM). Based in Alor Setar, KFHA has been providing access to sexual and reproductive health services to the public and the underserved for 60 years.

Perak Family Health Association (formerly known as Perak Family Planning Association) is a non-governmental organisation established in 1956 and is the leading NGO in the field of sexual reproductive health in Perak. The association is a member of the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations, Malaysia (FRHAM). Guided by the philosophy of excellence in sexual health care, PHFA believes that all people have a right to the highest possible level of sexual reproductive health and wellbeing. PFHA has 2 clinical branches providing sexual reproductive health and general health services.

The Reproductive Health Association Melaka (RHAM) is a non-profit, non-government service provider and an advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  RHAM was formed in 1957 and is a member of the Federation of Reproductive Health Associations Malaysia (FRHAM) which is affiliated to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The change in name from Family Planning Association Malacca to Reproductive Health Association Melaka in 2010 reflects more accurately our evolving roles and vast strides made in the field of SRHR including family planning.
