FRHAM is the leading voluntary family planning, sexual and reproductive health organization in Malaysia. Being a service-oriented body, FRHAM has the community at heart. Recognizing the sexual and reproductive health needs of its clientele, FRHAM and the State Member Associations developed related services and educational activities to promote optimal health of women, men, and young people.
FRHAM's operation is based on the following strategic plan and framework: FFPAM Strategic Plan Towards Vision 2020 (2003), which is in consonance with the IPPF Strategic Framework 2005-2015. The IPPF Strategic Framework focuses on the 5A's: Access, Adolescents, Advocacy, AIDS/HIV and Abortion. The implementation of our work is reinforced by Support Strategies aim to ensure human resources capability, financial sustainability, accountability in all aspects of work and networking enhancement.
